Abstract

The article presents seven Christian inscriptions from the district Saimbeyli and the city Comana/Hierapolis in Southeast Cappadocia. The inscriptions are rich in quotations of biblical texts, among them: 2 Corinthians 1:3; Matthew 26:13/Romans 1:8; Isaiah 12:3; Psalm 28(29):3; and Psalm 131(132):14. Additionally, they bring us a new attestation of the era of Anazarbos, and the fifth Anatolian attestation of a periodeutes.
